The full name of PE pipe is HDPE high-density polyethylene pipe. Compared with traditional metal pipes and other plastic pipes, it has the characteristics of low density, high strength to quality ratio, low brittleness temperature, good toughness, good corrosion resistance and insulation performance, easy coloring, easy construction and installation. It is widely used in municipal and building water supply and drainage, gas, heating and cooling, wire and cable threading, agricultural water-saving irrigation and industrial sewage, mining mineral transportation and other fields.
PE water supply pipes are made of specialized polyethylene as raw material and extruded in one go through a plastic extruder. By using hot melt and electric melting connections, the integration of the interface and the pipe material is achieved, and it can effectively resist the circumferential stress and axial impact stress generated by pressure. Moreover, the PE pipe material does not add heavy metal salt stabilizers and is non-toxic, without scaling or bacterial growth, avoiding secondary pollution of drinking water.
